This program is designed for fun and to socialize with other boaters. Skill level of participants varies from novice to experienced and races include all sizes of boats. 

The staggered start system is used where slower boats start first and the fastest boats start last. First boat over the finish line is the winner. So no need to be concerned with chaos at the start line. 

Once the race is over we meet at the Afterdeck for refreshments and banter. 

The Skippers meeting is at the Afterdeck at 6:00 PM where the course and start times are assigned. For further information contact: Walter Clark 250 713-5204

LMS Fun Rum Cup - April 28, 2018 :: Racing
Come on out and sail the Rumbline! Each boat to compete might receive a cup of rum at the turning mark.

Open to any size, shape or type of sailboat.
No rating required or calculated, this is a fun race.Post-race Barb-Q, bantering, jabbing and other sailor grandiloquence to follow at the welcome Centre.

Bay Race #1 :: Racing

This is a pursuit race to Northwest Bay and back. Start times are  staggered, based on vessel ratings, and the first boat over the finish line is the winner. A fun race with plenty of scope for strategy. More details to follow.
