SCYC Invitational Golf Tournament

Friday, May 10th

Hello again golfers and those wanabees

It’s time to ante-up to play from the tees.

Three-thirty pm on the tenth day of May

The shotgun will signal the start of play.

The bar will be open sometime before six

And there will be time to mingle and mix.

Steak dinner will follow at six forty-one,

Then bragging and prizes: That should be fun.

If you are a member of Fairwinds Golf Club

Forty-five is your cost to golf and have grub.

For all other golfers, the golf and the meal,

Seventy-five total---A heck of a deal!

Now you don’t have to golf to join in the fun

Just join us for dinner, we’d like that a ton.

It will cost a mere forty for mains and dessert

With lots of good coffee to keep you alert.

Some may think the rates are a little bit queer

So said the banker to the cost engineer,

Who’ve been thinking of couplets for such a long time

That each time they chat it comes out in rhyme.

Prizes Galore!!
