SUMMER CRUISE

 

Cruise to Desolation Sound and beyond, the Filberg Festival & Nautical Days in Comox
July 23 - August  6

 

  •                                                 Approximately 15 days
  •                                                 Stops to include John Henrys' Marina/Pender Harbour (dock), Westview  Marina in Powell River (dock), Copeland Is (anchor) or dock in Lund, Roscoe Bay nights – anchor), Squirrel Cove (anchor), Von Donop Inlet (anchor),  Octopus Islands Marine Park (2 nights-anchor), Taku Marina (dock) or Rebecca Spit (anchor), Gorge Harbour (dock), Comox Marina or Henry Bay (2 nights-dock or anchor), Schooner Cove.

Cruise meeting:  Monday June 5 at the Afterdeck for all those interested.  Time:  1300 hours

FALL CRUISE

 
Cruise to the Gulf Islands
September 14 - 20

-  Approximately 7 days

- Planned itinerary:

     Thursday, September 14 - depart for Ladysmith Maritime Society Marina (LMS);

     Friday, September 15 - depart for Ganges Marina, spending two nights and including a visit to Salt Spring Vineyards, tasting and music 4-6pm;

     Saturday, September 16 - enjoy the Saturday Market in Ganges, a short walk from the marina;

     Sunday, September 17 - depart for Otter Bay Marina, spending two nights on Pender Island;

     Monday, September 18 - fun golf game at Pender Island Golf & Country Club (clubs are rentable and green fees are reasonable - 9 or 18 holes;

     Tuesday, September 19 - depart for Newcastle Island (anchor or dock - first come, first served) with a 'last night BBQ' planned.

     Prizes for the 'best costume'.  Other games are planned.
