OPENING OF THE SCYC BOATING SEASON

SAILPAST is an occasion for members to celebrate the opening of the boating season and acknowledge our Commodore. All members of SCYC are cordially invited to attend.

ITINERARY:

12:30 Gather at the SCYC Afterdeck

12:50 Piped procession of the SCYC Commodore, SCYC Past Commodore’s and Commander of Power Squadron

1:00 Ceremony

1:30 SAILPAST skippers’ meeting – SAILPAST vessel routing review

1:45 Man the Boats and Rendezvous on the Water. (Decorating your boat highly recommended)

3:00 Vessel SAILPAST salute to the Commodore and return to marina

5:00 Dinner at Fairwinds Marina

All guests must pre order and pay for their meal by April 28. Price includes tax and gratuity. Any additions will be charged at restaurant, cocktails, tea, coffee etc
Choices for dinner
  1. Prime rib- whipped potatoes, seasonal veg, Yorkshire pudding. Au jus.
  2. Chicken supreme- whipped potatoes, seasonal veg
  3. Vegetarian pasta
Also included will be Birthday cake served by restaurant staff.
Cost $39 for non members, members pay $32

SAIL PAST, MAY 4, 2025, REGISTRATION Please confirm your attendance at this year’s SAIL PAST. You may register for some or all parts of this event. Please answer all questions to help us plan this event better. Please indicate your intent to join us for dinner at Fairwinds Marina before April 28th (midnight) to reserve your place.

Fairwinds Marina bar will open at 4:30 PM. Dinner will be served at 5 PM and will consist of Prime rib- whipped potatoes, seasonal veg, Yorkshire pudding. Au jus. OR Chicken supreme- whipped potatoes, seasonal veg OR Vegetarian pasta. Your cost will be $32pp (club subsidy included) for members and $39pp for non-members. Guests are responsible for all beverages, including tea and coffee.
