A Message from our Fleet-Captain,
Rally #1 two weeks ago was a great success. While the sun didn’t shine, we had a steady 15+ knot of warm NW wind. All eight boats sailed fast, completing all five legs more than one hour ahead of the cut off time. This week, the weatherman is promising us full sun and a warm 10-20 knot NW wind for Sunday. That’s as good as it gets! Remember you get one point for each leg that you complete and if you finish all legs within the prescribed time, you earn an additional point. To celebrate Halloween, boats that have at least one crew member dressed up in a costume will earn an extra point. ???? Send me a short email if you would like to participate this week. Skippers meeting will be 0945 at the Afterdeck. First boat will start at 1030. Attached is the course for Rally #2. If the wind forecast on Sunday is for lighter air, we will shorten the course.
