YOUR QUESTIONS & HALE’S ANSWERS
Safety Seminar for all Boaters by Warren Hale
Zoom Presentation – Starts at 19:00 on Tuesday April 12, 2022.
We are fortunate to have as one of our members, Warren Hale , a man with extensive offshore sailing experience, having served as an Offshore Instructor & Evaluator and having been a sailing instructor for nearly 20 years. “Hale” as he likes to be called, has logged over 100,000 NM in his boating career.
Hale was part of a start-up group who conceived and designed the Sail Canada Offshore Personal Survival course. It’s fair to say that in that capacity, Hale would have seen some pretty challenging, not to say, harrowing situations.
Hale has kindly offered to share his knowledge and experience with us. Rather than merely telling us war stories, Hale would like to answer our questions as we prepare for our own off-shore (or in-shore) adventures.
No question is too trivial to answer. Consider this list of topics or add your own.
