Each fall, SCYC stages its famous Fun Fleet Regatta. With the focus on fun, all members are encouraged to get out on the water, then join in the post-race social festivities. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the Fleet Regatta so let’s get all club boats out on the water to mark the occasion.

The Fleet Regatta will take place on Sunday, September 10th, 2023

VIEW RESULTS

This year the race will be a “Bang and Back” format. Vessels start at the same time and sail as fast as they can around the course until the lead vessel crosses the finish line. Then vessels are called on VHF to turn around and sail the course back in the opposite direction.  The order of finish will be as vessels complete the course in reverse. There will be no handicap appied, so no PHRF is required.

Whether you are new to sailing or an experienced racer, you’ll be sure to have fun. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as fun spot prizes for on-water antics. The focus is on participation and having fun.
