FAIRWINDS MARINA RE-OPENING
June 16, 2020

Greetings, Marina patrons!

In order to safely re-open Fairwinds Marina, we have implemented operational protocols to help protect our clients and our staff from unnecessary risk. We must rely on the best efforts of everyone involved to help maintain safety at our facility. As such, we kindly ask that you review the information below in order to adhere to our newly adopted procedures when visiting Fairwinds Marina.

Wherever possible, we have eliminated high-risk activities and introduced safety controls that encourage physical distancing. Enhanced cleaning schedules have been introduced with a concentration on areas with a high user frequency that will help to ensure the safety of our staff and our customers. Full details may be found here: FAIRWINDS MARINA SITE PLAN

INFORMATION FOR VISITORS AND TRANSIENT BOATERS
Transient Boaters
We are now open to transient boaters. For those in our community who have expressed interest in having family members come visit our facility, we are now open for temporary stays. All booking requests should be sent directly to Fairwinds Marina office staff via email or phone call from the captain of the vessel seeking the booking.
*Please note: advance reservations are required. All contracts and insurance documents must be received in advance of arrival. Our shower and laundry facilities will remain closed to all boaters.

USA Registered Transient Boaters
For all US or Washington registered vessels, we will require proof of being “cleared” by border agents 14 days prior to the requested date. Additionally, we will require information on where you served your mandatory self-quarantine. Upon arrival into Canada, vessels must immediately call the Canadian Telephone Reporting Centre at 1-888-226-7277. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) phone number is available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. The stamps acquired from border agents will be used to confirm quarantine orders.

Reciprocal Moorage
We will be allowing yacht club members who have reciprocal moorage agreements with the Schooner Cove Yacht Club to visit our facility. We have a maximum of 150′ of dock open for reciprocals which is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
