OUR RACE COMMITTEE NEEDS HELP
The Race Committee that starts and times the participants of our Club’s Race/Cruise events during the Spring, Fall, Winter Series is needing volunteers (when Covid restrictions are relaxed to safely allow our racing to resume).
Duties include attending a race which is held every second Sunday with another member of the Committee, starting the race from shore, timing the participants at the finish line, consuming free beer at the wind-up party at the end of the year Awards Ceremony. Oh, wait, that seldom happens.As there are two ‘teams’ presently, you will only be required for duty once every four weeks. Rigorous training is available at no charge.
